01 Piney Lake. A 40-minute drive on a 10-mile dirt road takes you to a picturesque lake located at the base of Mt. Powell. Hike, rent a stand-up paddleboard, and enjoy a great lunch with views!
02 Hanging Lake. A relatively short but steep 1¼-mile hike, which rises over 1,000 feet in elevation, takes you to a magical setting of a small alpine lake and a spouting waterfall.
03 Rocky Mountain National Park. Located about a 3-hour drive, the Park is definitely worth the effort. Expect majestic scenery and an abundance of flora and fauna. Elk, bighorn sheep and mule deer populate this upper alpine highway through mountain peaks.
